This course aids the radiologist in determining the indications for the different imaging modalities used for the abdomen and pelvis, as well as indications for secondary imaging studies. This is obtained by providing an updated summary of contemporary imaging methods and evidence-based practice in CT, MRI and US as related to the gastrointestinal and genitourinary systems, The ACR recommendations on managing incidental CT-scan findings in the kidney, adrenal, liver, and pancreas will be presented as appropriate. The course is designed for the radiologist in clinical practice.
