The new Pediatric Emergency Medicine program will help physicians to be clinically competent in the management of the acutely ill or injured youth in the emergency department setting. This program will enable practitionersto identify and manage life-threatening and non-life threatening situations.

A review of the fundamental content of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and endorsed by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Emergency Medicine, this material will equip board certification candidates for specialty proficiency of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist for MOC.

The course is intended for emergency physicians, pediatricians, and family practitioners, and pediatric emergency physicians.
