Objectives
- Design a comprehensive management plan for their patients with AD that adjusts to patient needs across the disease spectrums that makes collaborative use of full ranges of clinical and social resources: family members, home health, nursing, specialists, and local and national social service and patient organizations
- Assess usage of current and emerging biomarkers and imaging techniques and ability to improve accuracy and speed of AD diagnoses
- Apply recent expert recommendations to the selection of pharmacologic therapies for cognitive and behavioral issues at appropriate stages of AD, staying up-to-date on new and emerging therapies while clinical evidence collects
- Realize the major clinical criteria for diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease
