ScientiaCME's course about hematology is approved for 1 credit hour and encompasses topics about updates, diagnoses, treatments, and challenges of handling hemophilia. Objectives include the following:

• Describe the pathophysiology of those characteristics that play a role in determining the staging, prognosis, and diagnosis of hemophilias A and B.
• Describe the benefits of prophylactic vs. on-demand clotting factor regimens in patients with hemophilia and apply them in patient cases.
• Distinguish between the most appropriate treatment approaches to hemophilia and apply them to practice, taking into account the following: treatment modalities and the recent clinical trial evidence supporting them.
• Describe the barriers to care associated with treating patients with hemophilia* and develop strategies to mitigate those challenges.
